We take safety extremely seriously in this house. Riding the bike inside is no joking matter. You could ride over someone's toe or knock a drink over! So we have now implemented a strict Helmet's Always rule. And none of those sissy bicycle helmets here! No we are using the real thing.
Unfortunately they are rather heavy and vision restricting and though they do protect heads well, they also cause them to come into contact with foreign objects more often.
In unrelated news incidences of knocked over drinks has been on the rise and my toes hurt.
