Last night I dreamed of the ocean. I miss it terribly and yearn to be on some distant seashore where I can stand and watch the waves roll in - especially on a moody, overcast day similar to our weather today. So as soon as there was a break in the rain and a couple of rays of sunlight shining through the dark clouds we hopped in the car and drove to the closest body of water we could find. Not quite the ocean but it will do for now. Besides, it was only a seven minute drive from our home. The air had a cozy warmth to it. The atmosphere was quiet and the place was mostly deserted. Just Rowan and I. Just perfect.
